Joan_Fontaine_1942

This Sunday, October 22nd, is a special day for classic film enthusiasts worldwide. The legendary actress, Joan Fontaine would be celebrating her 100th centenary. For the occasion, my friend Virginie from The Wonderful World Of Cinema and myself from, In The Good Old Days Of Classic Hollywood are hosting a blogathon in her honor.

A big thank you to those who have taken the time to participate. We both look forward to reading your entries.

  1. Dear Crystal,

Here is my article on “The Emperor Waltz:” https://pureentertainmentpreservationsociety.wordpress.com/2017/10/21/the-emperor-waltz-austria-is-going-to-the-dogs-indeed/. I hope your blogathon is a huge success. Good luck!

By the way, are you going to be able to write the two articles for my “Great Breening Blogathon?” If you think you are, I will be happy to wait for the final roster until you have finished them. If you will not be able to, I will publish the roster without your addition. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Yours Hopefully,

    Tiffany Brannan

    1. Hi Tiffany. Thanks for the post. I’ll link it soon. As for the Breening Blogathon, I will be able to submit one article, but I won’t have time to write the other two like I initially promised. As soon as I get these other two articles that I’m currently writing finished, I will go back and finish my article for the Breening Blogathon. I did do some of it before hand. I’ve been flooded with articles and assignments for my journalism course of late, so I’ve been finding it hard to submit blogathon articles on time. I wish I could. I’m really sorry for the delay.
