This is what I call a last minute post, but I am elated to be publishing it. For the third consecutive year, Laura from Phyllis Loves Classic Movies and myself are hosting the Olivia de Havilland Blogathon, paying tribute to the phenomenal actress who will be celebrating her 102nd birthday on July 1st.
RULES:
1. If you wish to participate in the blogathon, please leave us a comment and let us know the topic of your choice. Because there are a wealth of subjects, we will be allowing no duplicates, so it’s first come first serve.
2. The blogathon will take place on the dates, July 1 – 3, so please have your entries ready by then. We also accept early entries.
3. Secondly, please take one of these fabulous banners designed by Laura, and add them to your blog. We look forward to having you join us in July.
P.S. Stay tuned, as I will also be announcing my Fourth Annual Barrymore Trilogy Blogathon tomorrow. Some more exciting news for y’all.

I look forward to hear what topic you choose. I joined the Lee Grant Blogathon the other day. I’m doing “In The Heat of the Night”. There is also another film that sounds really good. I’m going to see if I can find a place to watch it online. If I can, I will do that as well.

Sounds good! If you don’t find it and find a trailer with her in it you can review that if you want!

Great choice Virginie. Olivia delivers one of her best performances in this film I reckon.

Hi Crystal! I’ve already finished to write my post for the blogathon! Here is the link https://wp.me/p5ex6T-5×8
It’s scheduled and will only be live on July 1st, so it’s normal if you can’t see anything for the moment! I will eventually link your post with the participants entries when this one will be published. Thanks a lot to you and Laura for hosting this nice blogathon!

Dear Crystal,
I’m sorry that I’m so late in my decision to participate in your two upcoming blogathons. However, I have now decided that I want to participate in both. For the Olivia de Havilland Blogathon, I’d like to write about “The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex.” For the Barrymore Blogathon, I would like to write about “Rasputin and the Empress” if it is still available. If it is not, I’ll take “Grand Hotel.” If this is not available either, I’ll have to think of something else. I look forward to participating in another one of your wonderful blogathons.
By the way, I would like to invite you to join an event I am hosting on my website, #CleanMovieMonth: https://pureentertainmentpreservationsociety.wordpress.com/2018/06/27/july-is-cleanmoviemonth. Starting on July 1st, it’s a month long celebration of Code films and clean entertainment. All you have to do is watch movies from the greater Breen Era exclusively. Then, in the beginning of August, you can write an article about your thoughts on the experiment. It shouldn’t be hard for you, since I know how much you love old movies. Even if you think you’ll be too busy to write any articles for this event, I would be very grateful if you would read my announcement and consider reposting it on your website. Your articles get so much more traffic than mine do, and I could really use the publicity.
I hope you’ll be able to participate, Crystal. I look forward to participating in your blogathons.
Yours Hopefully,
Tiffany Brannan
